You indicated on the Tech Needs survey or through a ticket that you only have limited cell data available at your home. At this time, we have been unable to acquire any hot spots, but we are hoping to have them by next week. Many cell companies are offering unlimited data to existing customers (AT&T and Sprint are, Verizon is not). See options here: https://its.humboldt.edu/work-from-home#internet. Please check to see if any of these options are available to you.
If no free options are available to you, the University may be able to reimburse you for additional data costs if you are able to increase your data plan during this time to use for telecommuting. To request reimbursement approval, see the Purchasing Related to COVID-19 section of the Instructions on Purchases and Travel Cancellations email.
